Prospective candidates have to first apply to University of Cambridge as per the University's application process and secure admission in the LL.M. course. In the application they have the option of selecting the Prathiba M. Singh scholarship as one of the scholarships that they seek to secure.

The names and applications of the deserving candidates who have been admitted to the LL.M. program at the University of Cambridge is sent by the Cambridge Trust to Justice Singh.

Justice Singh assesses the applications and shortlists the candidates for the interview stage.

The shortlisted candidates are then interviewed by our panelists which comprises of two members:

a. Justice Prathiba M. Singh

b. Professor Nikhil Tandon

The final scholars are selected by the panelists. The criteria for selection are two fold: merit-based and need-based. The results are eventually announced by the Cambridge Trust.
